Isabella Maria DeLuca, a 23-year-old right-wing influencer, has publicly called out former Major League Baseball player Aubrey Huff for what she perceives as his hypocritical behavior. The contention arises from Huff’s online activities, where he criticized DeLuca for allegedly using her sexuality to gain attention, despite engaging with her privately in a manner she found suggestive.

The issue surfaced following an online altercation between DeLuca and Rachel Wilson, another conservative activist. Wilson accused DeLuca of being a “grifter” and using her looks for personal gain, coining the term “thirst trapper” in several online discussions. DeLuca defended herself, claiming the criticism was overblown and that her attire in a baking video was not inappropriate.

Huff, known for his time with the San Francisco Giants and winning two World Series titles, waded into the debate on January 1. He lambasted the “cat fight” between the two women in a now-deleted post, accusing women like DeLuca of bringing nothing but “sexuality” and a “desperate need for attention” to discussions.

In response, DeLuca revealed a direct message from Huff sent on Christmas Day, suggesting a collaboration over drinks. She questioned Huff’s moral standing, pointing out the disparity between his public denouncements and private messages. Following DeLuca’s exposure of the message, Huff deleted his account from the platform.

DeLuca, who started her political commentary career on TikTok over two years ago, expressed frustration with criticism from both political spectrums. She argued that if she had sought attention for her appearance, she would not have chosen a career in politics.

Huff has remained silent on the issue, declining to comment on the matter. This incident highlights the complex nature of online political discourse and the challenges faced by women in the conservative movement.
