Noem Warns: Biden’s Policies Turning US European

During an appearance on Fox News Channel, South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem expressed her concerns about President Joe Biden’s approach to governance, particularly in relation to the U.S.-Mexico border crisis. Noem, siding with Texas in its border dispute with the Biden administration, emphasized the transformative impact of Biden’s policies on the United States.

In her discussion with host Trace Gallagher, Noem highlighted the need for effective leadership, stressing that any legislative action by Congress would be futile without a president who respects and enforces federal law, including immigration law. She argued that the current trajectory under Biden’s administration is fundamentally altering the American landscape.

Noem’s main contention is that the U.S., under two more years of Biden’s leadership, will resemble Europe. She pointed to what she perceives as negative developments in European countries, suggesting that similar outcomes could occur in the U.S. if current policies continue. “Look at what’s happened there and the devastation that they’re enduring,” Noem said, referencing Europe.

Further, she posed a rhetorical question about the future of America, asking, “If we don’t stand now, if we don’t defend our border and protect our country right now, where will we go?” Noem emphasized the urgency of addressing what she views as a pivotal moment for the nation, particularly concerning border security and national sovereignty.

Governor Noem’s remarks reflect a broader sentiment among some political figures and constituents who are critical of the Biden administration’s policies. Her comments underscore the ongoing debates in American politics over immigration, national identity, and the direction of the country under current leadership.
