Nathan Wade, previously appointed by Fani Willis to work on an election-rigging case against former President Donald Trump, is now embroiled in a personal scandal according to a recent divorce filing. His estranged wife, Jocelyn Wade, has accused him of neglecting to provide child support for their two children and failing to cover $4,400 in urgent medical expenses needed for her health issues. The legal document filed in the Superior Court of Cobb County outlines the severity of Jocelyn’s health condition, which necessitates an endoscopy, colonoscopy, and ultrasound due to significant symptoms impacting her food consumption and causing substantial weight loss.

This accusation comes in the wake of Wade’s resignation as the lead prosecutor in the Georgia election interference case, a move prompted by allegations of an affair with Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, and misuse of funds. Jocelyn’s filing paints a grim picture of her financial and health situation, highlighting a dire need for medical intervention and the impact of Wade’s alleged failure to fulfill his financial obligations on their family’s wellbeing.

Wade, who has denied engaging with Willis until after his involvement in the fraud case, is also accused of reneging on an out-of-court divorce settlement intended to avoid testimony about his relationship with Willis. According to the filing, Jocelyn has had to deplete her resources to cover expenses Wade allegedly promised to handle, including supporting their son’s aspirations as a professional soccer player in Europe and their daughter’s academic endeavors.

The filing demands immediate action, urging that Wade fulfill his financial responsibilities towards child support and Jocelyn’s medical expenses to prevent further deterioration of her health and financial stability. The case brings to light the personal challenges facing Wade amidst his professional controversies, underscoring the broader implications of his actions on his family.
