Rock icon Bruce Springsteen has endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris for the upcoming presidential election, declaring her a “vision of America” in a newly released Instagram video. Springsteen, known for his support of Democratic candidates, explained that he believes this election to be “one of the most consequential in our nation’s history,” emphasizing the importance of unity and shared values.
In his endorsement, the “Born in the USA” singer contrasted Harris with former President Donald Trump, calling Trump “the most dangerous candidate for President in my lifetime.” Springsteen criticized Trump for his approach to democracy, the Constitution, and the rule of law. He praised Harris, along with her running mate Governor Tim Walz, for their commitment to inclusivity and economic growth that benefits all Americans, not just the elite.
Acknowledging diverse perspectives, Springsteen noted, “Everybody sees things differently,” but expressed unwavering support for Harris, saying, “I’ll be casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz.”
Springsteen joins a growing list of entertainers, including Taylor Swift, who have publicly voiced their support for Harris. Previously, Springsteen supported President Joe Biden in 2020, lending his voice to a campaign ad that emphasized unity and America’s “can-do spirit.” His latest endorsement reflects his ongoing dedication to progressive policies and Democratic leadership.
