President Joe Biden recently sparked reactions from conservatives after he praised Vice President Kamala Harris as a “major player” in his administration, a comment many believe could be advantageous for Donald Trump’s campaign. During a rare appearance in the White House press briefing room, Biden emphasized Harris’s involvement in critical legislation and policy initiatives, stating that they were “singing from the same song sheet.”

Biden’s comments came while he discussed averted labor strikes and the positive jobs report, but when asked about Harris’s role, he reiterated that she had been integral to all major actions taken by his administration. This statement triggered a wave of responses from conservative commentators, with some joking that Biden’s remarks essentially created a Trump campaign ad.

Trump’s campaign adviser Chris LaCivita quipped, “I’m Donald Trump and I approved this message,” echoing a sentiment shared by others on social media, including Fox News contributors who mocked the timing of Biden’s comments. The appearance coincided with Harris’s speech in Michigan, where she was discussing labor issues, but news networks shifted their coverage to focus on Biden’s remarks, which overshadowed Harris’s event.

Conservatives, including Fox News contributor Joe Concha, highlighted the awkward timing and the president’s continued association of Harris with his administration, suggesting that it could harm her own presidential prospects.
