Federal Judge Furious at Trump Officials for Defying Order to Stop Deportation Flight

Tensions between the judiciary and the White House escalated after a federal judge erupted over President Donald Trump’s refusal to halt deportation flights of Venezuelan gang members, despite a prior court order. The judge, visibly furious in the courtroom, accused the administration of openly defying the judicial branch.

The conflict stems from Trump’s recent directive authorizing deportation flights carrying suspected members of the notorious Tren de Aragua gang back to Venezuela. The judge had previously issued an injunction blocking the flights, citing concerns over human rights violations and potential retaliation against deportees.

Despite the order, the Department of Homeland Security proceeded with at least one flight, drawing a sharp rebuke from the bench. During proceedings, the judge slammed the administration’s actions as a “blatant disregard for the rule of law” and threatened further legal consequences.

Trump has defended the deportations, arguing that the removal of violent gang members is essential to national security. Administration officials maintain that the flights are lawful under executive authority, stressing that the protection of American citizens comes first.

The showdown marks another flashpoint in the growing legal battle over immigration policy, as the administration pushes forward with aggressive enforcement while facing mounting challenges in the courts.
