A convicted drug dealer was seen sobbing as Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents took her into custody after she unlawfully re-entered the United States. The woman, identified as 35-year-old Maria Guzman, was apprehended during a targeted operation in Texas following her prior deportation.

Guzman, previously convicted of narcotics trafficking, had served a multi-year prison sentence before being deported to her home country. Authorities reported that she re-entered the U.S. illegally and was living under a false identity when ICE agents located her.

Footage of the arrest showed Guzman visibly emotional, breaking down in tears as agents escorted her to a waiting vehicle. According to officials, she will face federal charges for illegal reentry after deportation, a felony offense that carries additional prison time.

ICE confirmed that Guzman is now in federal custody and pending removal proceedings. Homeland Security officials emphasized that her arrest highlights the agency’s commitment to prioritizing individuals with serious criminal records for removal.
