Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter Tour is facing a wave of backlash from fans who are voicing frustration over steep ticket prices and a challenging purchasing process.

Although the tour has reported strong overall sales, with most venues nearing full capacity, many loyal supporters have taken to social media to criticize the sharp price increases compared to previous tours. Premium packages for the tour are priced significantly higher, and even general admission tickets have more than doubled in some locations compared to her earlier Renaissance Tour.

In the United States, fans encountered technical issues, long virtual wait times, and fluctuating costs driven by dynamic pricing models. While some tickets were initially listed at high rates, they later appeared on resale platforms at a fraction of the price, adding to consumer dissatisfaction.

The controversy has reignited debates over the fairness and transparency of ticketing practices, with calls growing louder for stronger regulations to protect concertgoers from unpredictable pricing and resale exploitation.

Despite the uproar, the Cowboy Carter Tour remains one of the year’s major live music events, though it has highlighted ongoing tensions between superstar tours and the affordability expectations of devoted fans.
