Obama’s Former Doctor Says Biden Should Undergo Regular Cognitive Tests

Dr. Jeffrey Kuhlman, who served as physician to former President Barack Obama, is raising concerns over the absence of formal cognitive testing during President Biden’s time in office. He argued that leaders over 70 should undergo routine and transparent neurological evaluations to assure the public of their mental fitness for duty.

While Biden’s annual health summaries outlined physical wellness, they lacked cognitive assessment details, a point Kuhlman views as a critical omission. He noted that former President Trump underwent and publicly shared cognitive testing, contrasting with Biden’s approach.

The renewed scrutiny comes amid broader discussions about age, mental acuity, and fitness for high office. Calls for standardized cognitive protocols for aging leaders are growing, especially in light of Biden’s recent health disclosures, including his treatment for metastatic prostate cancer.

Kuhlman’s remarks add to the ongoing national debate about transparency in leadership and the medical accountability expected of those in the highest office.
