Ghislaine Maxwell was spotted returning to her Florida federal prison this week carrying a sealed cardboard box, just hours after a closed-door meeting with officials from the Department of Justice.
Maxwell, currently serving a 20-year sentence at the low-security FCI Tallahassee for sex trafficking and conspiracy charges tied to the Jeffrey Epstein case, was photographed reentering the facility on Thursday afternoon. She appeared relaxed, dressed in a casual gray outfit, and escorted by federal agents as she carried the unmarked box.
Her appearance followed an unannounced visit to a nearby federal building, where she reportedly met with DOJ personnel. The purpose of the meeting has not been disclosed, and officials have declined to comment on the contents of the box or the nature of her trip outside the prison.
The incident has sparked speculation, given Maxwell’s past high-profile connections and ongoing legal interest in the Epstein investigation. Prison officials have not issued any formal statement regarding the outing.
