Fighter jets were deployed by NORAD over the weekend after a civilian aircraft breached restricted airspace surrounding President Trump’s golf estate in Bedminster, New Jersey. The incident was one of five reported airspace violations during the weekend’s Temporary Flight Restriction (TFR) period.

The latest breach occurred around 12:50 p.m. Sunday, prompting jets to release flares to get the pilot’s attention before escorting the aircraft safely out of the area. Officials confirmed there was no danger to people on the ground, as the flares burned out quickly after deployment.

NORAD reminded all pilots of the importance of checking FAA-issued Notice to Airmen advisories before flights, particularly near areas under TFR orders like Bedminster. Pilots were urged to review relevant NOTAMs to ensure compliance with presidential security protocols.

The president was not reported to be in immediate danger, and no injuries occurred during the incident. Authorities continue to stress that unawareness of restricted airspace is not a valid excuse for violations.
