In newly released Department of Justice transcripts from a July interview, Ghislaine Maxwell—serving a 20-year sentence for her role in Jeffrey Epstein’s sex trafficking operations—firmly stated that she never observed former President Trump behaving inappropriately. Describing him as “always a gentleman,” Maxwell said she never witnessed him in any distressing or unprofessional context, even while socializing in Epstein’s circle.
Maxwell, who met Trump through her father’s social connections, also addressed long-standing rumors surrounding Epstein’s infamous “client list,” labeling it nonexistent and dismissing the theories as modern-day witch hunts. Although she questioned the circumstances of Epstein’s 2019 death and deemed it unlikely to be due to suicide, she offered no additional insights into high-profile individuals allegedly connected to Epstein’s network.
