Authorities have identified Robin Westman as the gunman behind the devastating attack at Annunciation Catholic School in Minneapolis that left two children dead and 17 others injured. The shooting erupted during a morning Mass, shocking both the school and local community.Police confirmed that Westman, who took their own life after the assault, was heavily armed with a rifle, shotgun, and handgun—all legally obtained. Investigators later discovered a manifesto and videos posted online by the suspect, where Westman expressed disturbing admiration for past mass shooters and outlined extremist, antisemitic, and politically charged views.Officials are treating the massacre as an act of domestic terrorism and a possible hate crime, citing the religious setting and the shooter’s writings. Community leaders and state officials have urged solidarity and resilience, with renewed calls for stronger security measures in schools and more robust gun reform.

The tragedy has left Minneapolis mourning while investigators continue to piece together the suspect’s motives and digital footprint.
