President Trump has condemned what he calls the “political left” for fostering the environment that led to Charlie Kirk’s death, while announcing new investigations into online and left-aligned groups.
According to Trump, law enforcement is looking into whether any of these groups—particularly pro-trans and radical left organizations—had contact or influence over the accused shooter, Tyler Robinson. One group under scrutiny is Armed Queers Salt Lake City, which reportedly removed its social media presence following the tragedy.
Authorities are also investigating whether Robinson acted alone or had accomplices, as suspicions have arisen from the shooter’s online behavior. Trump emphasized that reactions celebratory of the shooting, especially from left-wing spaces, are part of what needs to be examined.
The president’s statements come amid growing political outrage, with leaders from both sides demanding accountability and clarity as the investigation proceeds.
