Obama Sure Was “Busy” During Billy Graham’s Funeral

Former President Obama was just too darn busy to attend the funeral of the famed Billy Graham… just too darn busy I tells ya!

A spokesperson for the former President told the press he would not be attending but he gave no real reason as to why…

President Donald Trump attended a memorial, he found the time… heck he even found the time for Graham’s funeral, too… Both George W. Bush and Bill Clinton both attended to pay their respects, so what gives?

Well, he did make one appearance during that week, attending a community meeting in the Southside neighborhood of Chicago, hoping to solidify the Obama Presidential Library.

“A lot of times, people get nervous about gentrification, and understandably so,” Obama said, according to the Tribune. “It is not my experience … that the big problem on the South Side has been too much development, too much economic activity. We have such a long way to go before you will start seeing the prospect of gentrification.”

He later stated on Twitter: “I got my start holding community meetings in Chicago, so it was fun to be home for one tonight. Michelle and I want the world to come together on the South Side at a place built with local ideas, values, and hopes. That’s the @ObamaFoundation and Presidential Center.”

Of course, Carter nor HW Bush attended but they’re not exactly in the best of health and in their 90s… you can’t really blame them.

Why couldn’t the former President take a day to pay respects to one of the most influential religious leaders this country has had in decades? It’s pretty nuts… I don’t really agree with him on anything ever but to be more concerned with his “legacy” over taking an afternoon to pay his respects to Graham is just… well I guess with the Left it’s par for the course.

He did at least tweet: “Billy Graham was a humble servant who prayed for so many – and who, with wisdom and grace, gave hope and guidance to generations of Americans.”
