In the aftermath of a fatal shooting at a Dallas ICE facility, investigators have revealed that one of the unused bullets recovered at the scene bore the inscription “ANTI-ICE.”
Officials identified the gunman as Joshua Jahn, 29, who fired from a rooftop into a secure entryway before dying by suicide. The attack killed one detainee and critically wounded two others.
The discovery of the inscribed ammunition suggests the motive may have been ideological, targeting the immigration enforcement agency directly. The FBI has classified the incident as a targeted act of violence and is working with federal and local partners to gather additional evidence and determine the full scope of the commit.
