Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem sharply criticized country singer Zach Bryan over a snippet of his unreleased track that references Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raids.
Noem described the lyrics as not just an attack on law enforcement but on the nation itself, calling them “completely disrespectful,” and said she’s relieved she never financially supported his music.
Bryan defended the song publicly, saying the full version will bring context and that its message is rooted in love for America, not partisanship. He emphasized he doesn’t align with any political extremes and questioned why his words are being weaponized.
