Prince Andrew Allegedly Used Royal Bodyguard to Probe Abuse Accuser’s Personal Data

Leaked emails have emerged showing that Prince Andrew reportedly provided his accuser’s U.S. Social Security number and date of birth to a taxpayer-funded bodyguard of the Metropolitan Police, instructing him to investigate her background. The documents indicate Andrew forwarded the sensitive data to his protection officer and also to his longtime associate, Jeffrey Epstein.

In messages exchanged in February 2011—just days after a photo of Andrew with his accuser, Virginia Giuffre, became public—Andrew described Giuffre as “dishonest” and said “she has a criminal record in the United States,” despite no evidence of such a record. He instructed the officer to probe her using the personal identifiers.

Giuffre’s family issued a response, stating these revelations “undermined” the credibility of efforts to discredit her and called for accountability. Andrew previously settled a lawsuit with Giuffre in 2022 without admitting wrongdoing, but consistently denied all allegations of sexual misconduct.

These disclosures arrive amid ongoing scrutiny of Andrew’s ties to Epstein and questions about whether state resources were improperly used in what amounts to a campaign of harassment rather than legitimate security measures. The investigation is still unfolding.
