Republican lawmakers claim newly released documents tied to the Agent Frost investigation reveal an internal “enemies list” orchestrated by the Biden administration, targeting more than 160 Republicans and conservative groups.
According to the filings, the Arctic Frost investigation—managed by special prosecutor Jack Smith—issued 197 subpoenas covering 34 individuals and 163 organisations, including lawmakers and non-profit groups. Evidence also shows FBI phone-metadata collections on eight sitting Republican senators and one congressman.
Republicans warned the revelations represent the weaponisation of federal authority, calling it a “political enemies list in action.” They are now urging the Justice Department to open a criminal investigation into the matter.
