Former Mossad Director Yossi Cohen declared that a joint U.S.–Israeli military operation successfully destroyed key Iranian nuclear facilities and halted uranium-enrichment efforts. He publicly credited Donald Trump’s administration for its role in planning and executing the effort.
Speaking at a security conference in New York, Cohen affirmed that Iran no longer enriches uranium, which he called a “major achievement.” He asserted that Tehran now understands both the scale of the alliance against it and the potential for further action if it resumes its nuclear ambitions.
Cohen emphasized coordination between the U.S. and Israel, pointing to coordinated strikes against Iran’s air-defense systems, Revolutionary Guard installations and uranium-production sites. He described the campaign as undermining what had previously been viewed as an existential threat to Israel.
The former intelligence chief’s remarks add weight to claims of extensive damage to Iran’s nuclear infrastructure and underscore a broader shift in the region’s security posture.
