First Lady Melania Trump received the “Patriot of the Year” award during the 7th Annual Fox Nation Patriot Awards held at the Tilles Center on Long Island. The trophy, designed to resemble the American flag, was presented in front of a crowd that included veterans, first responders, and high-profile voices from conservative media.
In her acceptance remarks, Trump praised the spirit of American innovation and celebrated individuals who challenge convention. She referenced the country’s founders and described ambition as central to national prosperity. The first lady also highlighted her own journey, saying she knows “a little bit about challenging convention” and urging audiences to embrace creativity as a patriotic act.
Hosted by Sean Hannity, the event also paid tribute to multiple everyday heroes and awarded the inaugural “Charlie Kirk Legacy Award” to Erika Kirk. The award ceremony underscored the network’s emphasis on honoring civic service, grassroots activism, and conservative values.
