Seven people sustained gunshot injuries across three New York City boroughs in a violent four-hour spree on the eve of Thanksgiving, police officials confirmed.

The violent outbreak began mid-evening as officers responded to multiple reports of shootings in separate neighborhoods spanning three boroughs. The victims were transported to local hospitals; at least two are listed in critical but stable condition, while the others have non-life-threatening injuries.

Authorities said the shootings appeared to be unrelated incidents, with no known connection among the victims — which ranged in age from late teens to early 30s. As of now, no arrests have been announced, and detectives are interviewing witnesses and searching surveillance footage for leads.

In response to the violence, New York City law enforcement has increased patrols in high-traffic areas ahead of the holiday, urging the public to assist by sharing any relevant video or information that could help pinpoint the shooters.
