Andrew Wolfe, 24, remains in critical condition after being shot this week near the White House in Washington, D.C. His family and friends are asking the public to keep him in their thoughts as he fights for his life.

In remarks shared publicly, Riley Moore said Wolfe is “hanging on” and vowed the family remains hopeful. Wolfe’s father, a deputy sheriff, and loved ones have described him as dedicated to service — and they are pleading for prayers and support.

The shooting occurred on November 26, 2025, in what authorities described as an ambush targeting two members of West Virginia National Guard. The other soldier shot in the incident, Sarah Beckstrom, 20, tragically died from her injuries. The suspect has since been taken into custody.

Local and federal officials have launched a full investigation into the attack’s motive. Meanwhile, supporters and community members nationwide have rallied to show solidarity with the wounded soldier, his family, and the broader Guard community.
