House Democrats have published a collection of never before seen photographs taken inside Jeffrey Epstein’s private island, offering the public a closer look at the secluded property that has long been at the center of abuse allegations.
The newly released images include detailed views of interior rooms, including bedrooms and bathrooms, along with a clinical looking setup resembling a dental office. Lawmakers said the photos also show walls decorated with unsettling masks and a chalkboard displaying words such as “power” and “deception.” Outdoor shots of the island’s pathways, buildings and surrounding landscape were also included.
The release follows the enactment of the Epstein Files Transparency Act, which requires federal authorities to make unclassified materials related to Epstein publicly accessible. Members of the committee said the photos represent an early portion of the materials they expect to disclose and emphasized that full transparency is necessary for accountability.
Lawmakers described the images as disturbing and renewed their call for additional records to be released. They urged the Justice Department to quickly provide financial documents, communication archives and investigative files so the public can gain a complete understanding of Epstein’s operations and the network surrounding him.
