A Democratic state attorney general acknowledged that he and a group of other attorney generals opposing former President Donald Trump’s policies held daily strategy sessions to coordinate legal actions against the administration.

The official, backed by pro-Democratic donors, confirmed that the coalition of state prosecutors regularly convened to align on approaches, share legal tactics, and discuss potential lawsuits aimed at challenging Trump-era initiatives. These sessions, he said, were a consistent part of their effort to use the courts to counter policies they viewed as harmful or unconstitutional.

The meetings reflect coordinated legal resistance by multiple states and law enforcement leaders, demonstrating an organized response to federal actions. The attorney general’s admission highlights how state officials pooled resources and information to file and pursue cases targeting key Trump administration decisions across a range of policy areas.

The acknowledgement underscores the increasingly strategic nature of legal challenges mounted by Democratic state leaders and the role such coalitions play in shaping national political and legal battles.
