Federal authorities have released troubling new surveillance footage showing a masked figure at the Arizona home of 84-year-old Nancy Guthrie in the hours before her disappearance, investigators confirmed. The woman, who is the mother of a national television journalist, was last seen at her residence near Tucson in the early morning hours of February 1 and has not been located since.
In the video, a person wearing dark clothing, gloves, and a face covering is seen approaching the front entrance and tampering with the home’s doorbell camera shortly before motion was detected on the device. Investigators believe the actions captured on the doorbell footage may be directly linked to Guthrie’s disappearance.
Law enforcement personnel have combed the area around Guthrie’s neighborhood for additional evidence. Among the items recovered is a lone black glove found near the property, which is now undergoing forensic testing. Authorities are hopeful that any trace DNA or other material from the glove could provide valuable leads in the probe.
At this stage, officials have not identified any suspects or made arrests in connection with the case. The investigation remains active, with local and federal agencies urging anyone with information to come forward.
