Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton told lawmakers during a congressional deposition that she does not remember ever encountering Jeffrey Epstein and has no knowledge of his activities.
Testifying before the House Oversight Committee, Clinton said she never traveled on Epstein’s private plane and did not visit any of his residences or private island.
The session, which lasted several hours, was part of a broader congressional review examining Epstein’s network and any possible links to public figures.
Clinton also stated she was not aware of any wrongdoing by Epstein associate Ghislaine Maxwell and indicated that any past interactions with Maxwell were limited and social in nature.
Members of Congress confirmed that Clinton responded to questions as the investigation into Epstein’s connections continues.
