And Then Comey Said Rosenberg Acted Dishonorably, Oh That’s The Punch Line

Can you imagine James Comey accusing anyone else of acting dishonorably?

Of course, he’s right but not about his firing as he is accusing him of. His handling of Uranium One and his involvement in the Clinton and Trump investigations. In fact, Rosenberg has said when all the facts come out about Comey, everyone will know why he had to write the letter to fire Comey. I’m assuming it’s something that will come out in the DOJ IG report due out sometime within the next 30 days

I can hardly wait to find out what it is, although it’s likely to be something we already know about though if it comes with a criminal referral, I will be one happy camper.

    From The Daily Caller:

The deputy attorney general, in my view, had acted dishonorably by putting out this pretext about why I was fired,” Comey said Sunday.

“Almost everyone agrees that the Director made serious mistakes; it is one of the few issues that unites people of diverse perspectives. The way (Comey) handled the conclusion of the email investigation was wrong,” Rosenstein wrote. “As a result, the FBI is unlikely to regain public and congressional trust until it has a Director who understands the gravity of the mistakes and pledges never to repeat them.”

Although Comey now says that he believes that Rosenstein is dishonorable, he would refuse Trump’s order to fire Robert Mueller. I don’t think that’s a worry because Trump will never fire Mueller.

He might replace Rosenstein with someone who would. I just don’t see Rosenstein lasting much longer. After Rosenstein approved of Mueller sending the FBI in ostensibly for New York prosecutors and taking attorney/client documents, I see Trump dumping him.

Rosenstein has allowed Mueller to stray far afield from the original mandate.

    dishonorable James Comey Rod Rosenstein.
