An administration official stated that President Joe Biden is moving forward with repealing Title 42 public health authority, allowing federal immigration officers to swiftly remove illegal aliens once they have crossed the United States-Mexico border.
In 2020, then-President Trump first used the CDC’s authority to slow the influx of illegal immigrants. Still, a federal judge invalidated it last month.
As a result of the Biden administration’s swift court petition, Title 42 authority will expire on December 21 instead of the initially scheduled date of November 21. Though they are appealing the ruling, the Biden DOJ is not actively working to preserve Title 42.
The insider told CBS News that the Biden administration’s DHS “continues to press full speed ahead in preparing for Title 42 to lift on December 21.”
According to a second administration official who spoke with Axios, the CDC “made a science-based determination that Title 42 is no longer necessary.”
Experts and members of the Biden administration agree that lifting Title 42 will almost certainly unleash a record-breaking influx of illegal immigrants. Members of the Biden administration who wished to remain anonymous have recently voiced their concern that advocating for an “open border” could trigger a worldwide influx of migrants.
To expedite the release of illegal border crossers and aliens into American communities far from the border, the Biden administration plans to pay more non-governmental organizations.
While Biden’s DHS has not been involved in any significant planning for the end of Title 42 in the coming weeks, Breitbart News has learned exclusively from a senior source within the Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agency that this is the case.

As part of the strategy to deal with a record number of illegal immigrants, officials in El Paso, Texas, have asked Vice President Biden to convert Fort Bliss into a migration intake center.
There would be a monthly influx of half a million people, or the population of Atlanta, Georgia, without Title 42, as has been previously admitted by Biden administration officials.
Andy Biggs, a Republican from Arizona, predicted in April that without Title 42, the number of illegal immigrants and border crossers would increase to 30,000 per day. Months ago, Breitbart News revealed exclusively that up to 6,000 foreign nationals were waiting in Tijuana, Mexico, to rush the border when Title 42 ended.
