Boebert said on Fox News Digital that Biden and Harris “have failed to maintain and execute the law faithfully.”

The Republican representative for Colorado, Lauren Boebert, said on Fox News at the top of the hour that Vice President Kamala Harris is a “shrewd insurance policy” for President Joe Biden against impeachment.

Boebert told Fox News Digital that she thinks Republicans are hesitant to press for Biden’s impeachment because of how negatively they see Harris.

“Kamala Harris is Biden’s wise insurance policy,” Boebert remarked.

The congresswoman said that such a historically unpopular vice president was deterring some members from calling for impeachment because “Joe Biden has failed the American people.”

‘Both have failed to maintain and implement the law faithfully, and both should be held fully accountable,’ she continued.

Fox News Digital reached out to the White House for comment on Boebert’s remarks but did not receive an immediate response.

When Biden is dealing with the mounting issue over his retention of three batches of sensitive records during his time as vice president in the Obama administration, Boebert’s statements come as a bombshell.

The president’s home in Wilmington, Delaware, and the Washington, D.C., think tank known as the Penn Biden Center have been searched and discovered to contain sensitive materials.

Many of the files discovered at Biden’s house in Delaware were kept in the same garage where his Corvette was kept.

Karine Jean-Pierre, the White House press secretary, would not confirm on Tuesday whether Biden’s attorneys are still looking for additional classified materials the president may have misplaced.

Last Monday, Attorney General Merrick Garland appointed former U.S. Attorney Robert Hur as a special counsel to review the trove of mishandled records.
