One website claims that “AOC’s purposeful isolation of AIPAC…” reveals her real colors.

Experts on antisemitism have criticized New York Democrat Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez for showing her “true colors” by attacking the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) for rejecting a democratic socialist candidate in Pennsylvania. American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) advocates for positive relations between the United States and Israel.

FEC documents reveal that the AIPAC-backed United Democracy Project super PAC spent $78,683 on direct mail attacking Democratic House candidate Summer Lee, an AOC-endorsed progressive running against Republican Mike Doyle in Pennsylvania’s 12th Congressional District. As a Democrat, Doyle will be leaving his legislative post soon.

“Shamefully, AIPAC is lobbying for Republican control of Congress and deeper destabilization of U.S. democracy,” Ocasio-Cortez tweeted on Monday.

Executive director of StopAntisemitism.org, Liora Rez, told Fox News Digital on Tuesday that statements made by Ocasio and Cortez contributed to the demonization of American Jews.

‘The poorly veiled objective of AOC’s tweet to malign a Jewish organization is incredibly evident and further adds to the vilification of American Jews,’ writes Rez.

That AOC “strategically isolated AIPAC and refused to call out the other nonpartisan and left-leaning organizations attempting to keep Justice Democrat nominee Summer Lee out of office” revealed her “real colors,” she concluded, was “very disappointing.”

Lee’s campaign committee, the Justice Democrats PAC, has accused AIPAC of being biased against the Republican Party since it sponsored candidates like New York’s Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Missouri’s Cori Bush.

Usamah Andrabi, a representative for the Justice Democrats, remarked, “Seems like AIPAC & the GOP have the same aim.”

After spending over $2 million, the United Democracy Project opposed Lee in the Democratic primary and supported Irwin instead. It was the first time, according to a story in Haaretz, that the super PAC has spent money to influence a campaign between the Democrats and the Republicans.

The American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) is a lobbying group that works to unseat politicians it considers threats to Israel and the special connection between the United States and Israel.

By May 2021-2, Lee was tweeting about how Israel had done “undeniable crimes on disadvantaged people” and how the “inhumanities against the Palestinian ppl must be allowed or ignored.”

Inquiries from Fox News Digital to Ocasio-Cortez, Lee’s campaign, and AIPAC were not returned.
