The campaign for Democratic governor candidate Katie Hobbs in Arizona has blamed Lake, who is endorsed by the Republican Party, for “spreading harmful falsehoods and instigating threats” after a break-in at their headquarters earlier this week.
According to the campaign manager Nicole DeMont’s Twitter post, Secretary Hobbs and her team have received “hundreds” of death threats and other violent threats.
Let there be no doubt: Kari Lake and her supporters have spent the better two years spreading harmful falsehoods and instigating threats against anybody they like. “Arizonans attempting to exercise their constitutional rights have been threatened, and elected officials have been attacked directly due to a coordinated campaign of misinformation and intimidation. You’re wasting your time. Katie is running for governor to make Arizona a better place for families to live. This is a race she can and will win.”
Information learned that items were taken from the property sometime during the night, according to a police statement.
A man in shorts can be seen in a surveillance image released by the Hobbs campaign.
According to Lake, “this seems like a Jussie Smollett part two” on CNN when asked about the reports.
