Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi confirmed criminal charges against three individuals accused of carrying out coordinated attacks on Tesla vehicles and facilities across the state. The announcement followed a multi-agency investigation into a series of incidents that left several Tesla dealerships and charging stations damaged.
Bondi revealed that the suspects targeted Tesla properties in what authorities believe was a deliberate effort to intimidate the company and its customers. The charges include felony vandalism, conspiracy to commit property destruction, and trespassing.
According to investigators, the group defaced Tesla vehicles with graffiti, smashed windows, and attempted to disable electric charging stations. Surveillance footage captured the suspects carrying out the acts, leading to their identification and subsequent arrest.
Authorities described the attacks as premeditated and organized, with the suspects allegedly sharing plans and videos online before executing the crimes. Bondi stated that such actions will not be tolerated and vowed to hold the individuals fully accountable.
The suspects are currently in custody and awaiting their first court appearance. If convicted, they face significant prison time and fines. Bondi emphasized that the state remains committed to protecting businesses from politically or ideologically motivated attacks.
