He is now trying to keep Republican lawmakers from releasing the FISA memo. He insists that the FBI be able to review before it’s release. That is just bad policy. Do investigators let suspects see all the evidence they have before they file charges. Of course they don’t. Why tip off the suspect on how much you have before the discovery process? You are less likely to provide vital information if the suspect knows you have nothing on them in some areas.
Add this to the long list of investigations and prosecutions of the Deep State rebuffed by DOJ officials. You can’t drain the swamp as long as their is someone replenishing the muck and mire every step of the way. It’s impossible. New revelations that the Investigator General has in his possession texts from elite officials of the FBI that is assumed to take the same position as Strzok and Page had and you see the swamp getting deeper as DOJ officials tries to stop the memo’s release.
He has not taken the same attitude about Adam Schiff’s leaking of false information designed to hurt the presidency.

The Justice Department is urging the chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, whose staff has compiled a secret memorandum purporting to show “shocking” political bias within the FBI, to give the department a chance to see the memo and warning that first sharing information from the memo with reporters would be “unprecedented” and dangerous.
Furthermore, the department said certain allegations of impropriety are completely unfounded.
“We believe it would be extraordinarily reckless for the Committee to disclose such information publicly without giving the Department and the FBI the opportunity to review the memorandum and to advise the [committee] of the risk of harm to national security and to ongoing investigations that could come from the public release,” a top Justice Department official wrote in a letter today to Rep. Devin Nunes, R-California. “Indeed, we do not understand why the Committee would possibly seek to disclose classified and law enforcement sensitive information without first consulting with the relevant members of the Intelligence Community.”
It is outrageous that the FBI used a document bought and paid for by Hillary Clinton and the DNC to get a FISA warrant. What’s next? The National Enquirer? Remember, 19 months into their investigation, the FBI has not been able to verify a single assertion in the Trump dossier. If they can get away with this with the president of the United States, what chance do you have should they decide to target you?
