Multiple independent sources have corroborated reports that Hamas had freed two American citizens they had been holding captive. According to a trustworthy source, the two captives, a mother and her daughter, were liberated on humanitarian grounds as a consequence of Qatar’s attempts to mediate the situation.

Judith and Natalie Raanan were stolen by Hamas from the Nahal Oz kibbutz, which is located in southern Israel close to the Gaza Strip. Hamas is responsible for their abduction.

A spokeswoman for the Al-Qassam Brigades, which is the military arm of Hamas, said that the American citizens were freed for humanitarian reasons and to confront what they consider as false and groundless charges made by the administration of Vice President Joe Biden.

An individual with knowledge of the situation claims that the captives are currently in the custody of the Red Cross.

Since Hamas launched its battle with Israel on October 7, there were still 11 Americans who had not been located as of the beginning of the day on Friday. On the other hand, the Israeli military stated that there are presently 203 Israeli captives being held by Hamas in the Gaza Strip.

During a speech that took place in Israel, Vice President Biden emphasized that it is of the utmost importance to secure the release and safe return of all of the hostages who are being held as a result of Hamas’s activities.
