British heavyweight boxer Anthony Joshua was involved in a fatal car crash in Nigeria that left two people dead, just days after his recent high-profile bout against Jake Paul, according to reports from local authorities.

The incident occurred while Joshua was traveling by road in Nigeria. The vehicle he was in was involved in a serious collision that resulted in the deaths of two individuals who were also inside the car. Emergency responders arrived at the scene, and the victims were pronounced dead there.

Joshua sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a medical facility for evaluation. He was later reported to be in stable condition. Officials did not disclose specific details about the nature of his injuries.

Preliminary findings indicate the crash is under investigation, with authorities examining factors such as road conditions and vehicle movement at the time of the incident. No further information has been released regarding fault or potential charges.

The crash occurred roughly a week after Joshua’s widely publicized fight, drawing international attention to the incident. Messages of support and condolences have since emerged from the boxing community and fans.

Investigators continue to review the circumstances surrounding the crash as officials work to notify families and complete the formal inquiry.
