President Joe Biden conducted a press conference in Hanoi, Vietnam, on the Sunday after the Group of 20 (G20) summit that was held in New Delhi, India in 2023. The purpose of the conference was to review the results of the meeting. During the press conference, Vice President Biden was replying to a question on the relationship between the United States and China when he abruptly declared that he needed to go to bed, purportedly due to weariness. The subject at hand concerned the relationship between the United States and China.

After this news was made, a reporter called out a question concerning Vice President Biden’s meeting with Chinese Premier Li Qiang during the G20 summit. During his brief introduction to the topics that will be discussed at the summit, Vice President Biden underlined how vital it is for countries in the Southern Hemisphere to have both a stable environment and the flexibility to adapt to new circumstances. In addition, he made it quite obvious that there was no combative disposition shown throughout the meeting with the Chinese.

Following the conclusion of the conversation, a member of the staff abruptly called the press conference to a stop and thanked everyone who was there for their participation in it.

Joe Biden, the Vice President of the United States, recently visited Vietnam, where he made the declaration of a comprehensive strategic relationship with that nation. The United States and Vietnam have mutual goals of attaining peace, economic growth, and long-term sustainable development; the aim of this partnership is to strengthen the connection between the two countries and to facilitate joint efforts toward these goals. Biden made quite clear that the objective of this alliance was not to cut China off from the rest of the world but rather to ensure that international rules and norms are upheld.

The culmination of the press conference drew light on the stress and difficulties that are associated with attending international conferences and flying across a number of time zones.
