    Biden Gives Wordy Response Over Israel Survivors Question

    During a press conference on Air Force One after meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Israel, President Joe Biden spoke about his experience meeting with survivors and first responders of recent Palestinian terrorist attacks. He was asked by a reporter about how these interactions had impacted him.

    Biden began by reflecting on his previous interactions with victims of mass shootings and other tragedies, expressing his understanding of the importance of being present for those who have experienced unimaginable trauma. He emphasized that offering empathy and understanding to people facing such situations provides them with a sense of hope.

    The President admitted that he often stays for extended periods during such events, answering people’s questions and providing support. He acknowledged that many individuals, including journalists, have experienced significant hardships and understood the importance of offering comfort and a sense of hope to those in need.

    Biden’s message was one of empathy and the significance of offering support and understanding to those who have endured traumatic experiences.
