President Joe Biden was spotted relaxing on Rehoboth Beach in Delaware, appearing calm amidst the ongoing investigation into his son Hunter Biden’s foreign business dealings. On the eve of Hunter’s best friend, Devon Archer’s, closed-door testimony, where the president may be implicated, Biden seemed unfazed.

Archer’s testimony is expected to challenge the White House’s claims of Biden’s lack of knowledge or involvement in his son’s business affairs. He is set to reveal details of meetings with foreign business partners where Hunter allegedly had Joe Biden on speakerphone.

While Republicans see Archer’s testimony as crucial, the Department of Justice (DOJ) has taken unusual actions, urging an expedited sentencing for Archer on an unrelated fraud conviction to potentially intimidate him.

Despite the gravity of the situation, President Biden seemed to enjoy his beach vacation, occasionally glancing at government papers, while his wife Jill read a book.

The investigation into Hunter’s businesses has been ongoing, with the House Oversight Committee seeking answers on the Bidens’ connections and business dealings. Archer’s decision to testify comes after multiple cancellations, possibly due to a lack of options.

Archer, who was sentenced to prison for defrauding a Native American tribal entity, views his testimony as a civic duty. The GOP has ramped up its investigation, and there have been claims of Biden’s involvement with his son’s businesses.

Archer and Hunter formed Rosemont Seneca Partners and were close friends for decades. They landed lucrative seats on the board of Ukrainian energy firm Burisma, leading to controversial allegations.

During Archer’s testimony, he is expected to share instances where Hunter used speakerphone calls to involve his father in business matters, potentially implicating President Biden.

As the investigation unfolds, both sides await the truth to emerge, and the outcome may have significant implications for the Biden administration and the Republican party.
