Breitbart Board Members Not Happy! They’ll be deciding the FATE of Bannon very soon.

Steve Bannon has set off a stink bomb from which he may never recover. In Michael Wolff’s new book, he quotes Bannon as making several disparaging remarks about President Trump. Mr. Bannon’s longtime benefactors, billionaires Robert Mercer and his daughter Rebekah Mercer, are moving away from Bannon in an effort to avoid being collateral damage. The Mercers and the other board members are meeting to decide Bannon’s fate at Breitbart. The future isn’t looking bright for him. Not many conservative media organizations are looking for a loose cannon.

Many of the writers and staffers at Breitbart, many of whom Bannon recruited himself, were wondering today if this would be Bannon’s last. As of 6:30 EST. no word on Bannon’s fate have been announced. But that could be something they would rather release late on Friday which is the best time to post news you don’t want too many to see.

    From The WSJ

Staffers at Breitbart, which Mr. Bannon has called his “killing machine,” described a “chaotic” day at the company, with writers—many personally recruited by Mr. Bannon—wondering whether he would last the day.

Asked Thursday whether Breitbart should oust Mr. Bannon, White House press secretary Sarah Sanders said: “I certainly think that it’s something they should look at and consider.”

Mr. Bannon and his representatives didn’t respond to requests for comment. On two recent radio shows, Mr. Bannon expressed support for Mr. Trump. He said Thursday morning, “nothing will ever come between us and President Trump and his agenda.”

After the excepts of the book came out, Bannon called Trump a great man. President Trump acknowledged the compliment but his tone seemed to indicate that Bannon was forced to backtrack as indeed he was.
After Trump fired Bannon, he returned as head of Breitbart where he started a PAC to fund insurgents running against establishment candidates. The funding for that PAC is now in question as the Mercers were the top contributors. If he gets the sack from Breitbart it is unlikely the PAC or Bannon will survive and if they do may have little if any effect on the 2018 races.
