A woman from Oklahoma celebrating her upcoming wedding was violently attacked by a stranger while attending her bachelorette party in Dallas, according to authorities and witnesses. The incident occurred late at night in a busy area of the city, leaving the victim hospitalized with serious facial injuries.
The woman, identified as 29-year-old Canada Rinaldi, was with friends in the Deep Ellum district when the unprovoked assault happened. Surveillance footage and eyewitness accounts revealed that a man approached the group and, without warning, struck Rinaldi in the face with a closed fist. The impact caused her to collapse to the ground, and the attacker fled the scene.
Emergency responders arrived within minutes and transported Rinaldi to a nearby hospital, where she was treated for a fractured nose, severe bruising, and swelling. Her injuries required medical intervention, and she has since returned to Oklahoma to recover surrounded by family.
Local police are investigating the incident as an aggravated assault. Detectives have released images of the suspect captured by nearby security cameras and are asking the public for help in identifying him. No arrests have been made as of yet.
Rinaldi’s fiancé and family have spoken out, expressing shock and heartbreak over the violent attack that marred what was supposed to be a joyful pre-wedding celebration. The couple had been preparing for their spring wedding, which they still plan to hold as scheduled.
Authorities continue to pursue leads and have increased patrols in the area as part of their response. The investigation remains active.
