Brit Hume blasted the MSNBC writer for his b*##sh*t gotcha question to President Trump. Hume, the normally reserved reporter for Fox news was uncharacteristically obscene in his rant against Peter Alexander.  David French of The Dispatch, who called the question a legitimate one, and called Trump’s response “inexcusable.” As Hune phrased, “Legitimate, my ass.” It was a gotcha question that President Trump refusd to play along with.

Legitimate question my a**. It was the kind of bullsh*t gotcha question which hack WH reporters have been asking for decades. But instead of going off on the reporter, Trump should have said the whole briefing in all its particulars was a message to people who are scared. https://t.co/Qg0lYC1fxk

Hume went on to add that the president could have responded in a much better fashion.

“But instead of going off on the reporter,” added Hume, “Trump should have said the whole briefing in all its particulars was a message to people who are scared.”

He was responding to criticism from David French of The Dispatch, who called the question a legitimate one, and called Trump’s response “inexcusable.”

“What do you say to Americans who are watching you right now who are scared?” asked Alexander after going down a list of statistics of the harm from coronavirus.

“I say that you’re a terrible reporter, that’s what I say,” Trump fired back. “I think that’s a very nasty question and I think that it’s a very bad signal that you’re putting out to the American people.

“The American people are looking for answers and they are looking for hope, and you’re doing sensationalism,” he concluded.
