A Brookdale professor, Howard Finkelstein is under investigation for targeting a conservative student, slamming his hand on the student’s desk and screaming at hi “F*#K your life.”
That episode was caught on video by another student. Christopher Lyle, the student claims this behavior has been the norm all semester and that he has gotten a low grade because of the professor’s bias towards the student’s political ideology.
The community college refuses to comment at this time because of the ongoing investigation.

Brookdale Community College is investigating a sociology professor after one of his students said the teacher was targeting him for being conservative.
The situation came to a head last week during a discussion about sexual harassment, Brookdale student Christopher Lyle said.
During the exchange, professor Howard Finkelstein slammed his hand on a desk and told Lyle, “f— your life,” which was caught on video by another student.
Brookdale spokeswoman Avis McMillon said she could not comment because of the ongoing investigation. Finkelstein was not immediately available for comment.
But Lyle said the harassment has been happening all semester in Sociology 105, Intercultural Communication: The Person and the Process.
He said he believes he’s being targeted because he’s a conservative who supports President Donald Trump. He said he also believes that the negative attention has impacted his grade in the class.
Finkelstein has been so abusive that several of his students dropped the course in mid-semester.
Others would have quit the class if not for the fact that the course is required for several majors. He is constantly telling students to shut the F*#k up and is especially abusive to military veterans calling them murderers.
