A former social studies teacher, Tracy Marie Fiorenza, who was arrested for making threats against Donald Trump and his son Barron, has now been accused of stalking Barron at his high school in the past.
Tracy Marie Fiorenza, aged 41, was taken into custody in Chicago earlier this week on charges of transmitting threats to kill or injure. This comes months after she allegedly traveled to Florida to stalk Barron Trump, the former president’s youngest son.
Back in March, Fiorenza was questioned by police in Palm Beach after she was found near the Oxbridge Academy, where Barron was a student. Florida prosecutors argued for Fiorenza to be held without bond during a recent hearing, citing her behavior and encounters with law enforcement as evidence that her threats were not idle online remarks.
During the hearing, Fiorenza exhibited several outbursts and engaged in confrontations with the judge. She claimed to have attempted to contact the school for years, alleging a failure to follow mandated reporting protocol. She also made unfounded claims about Donald Trump and government surveillance involving her former students.
In a separate incident, a security guard at Barron’s school had reported Fiorenza’s presence and inquiries about Barron’s whereabouts on March 7. The guard stated that Fiorenza was a known stalker of a high-profile student. Despite this, she was issued a warning for trespassing and later found by Secret Service agents near a gas station.
Fiorenza’s alleged harassment of the school dates back to October, with a series of calls claiming protocol violations. In May and June, she sent threatening emails mentioning Donald Trump and Barron. A Secret Service agent met with her in Chicago, where she admitted to sending the emails.
While acknowledging potential mental health issues, prosecutors argued that Fiorenza posed a real danger to the community. They cited her history of contacting government officials and celebrities with unfounded claims. Fiorenza’s court-appointed lawyer maintained that she does not exhibit aggressive behavior and has concerns about psychotronic weapons affecting her.
Fiorenza’s case was filed in U.S. District Court in southern Florida earlier this month and has now been unsealed. Her online presence reveals posts promoting conspiracy theories and expressing anti-Trump sentiments. She is expected to be extradited to Florida to face the federal charges.
