If you were going to pick an arbiter of the truth, would you even think about choosing James Comey? That’s like asking Harvey Weinstein to give advice on respecting women. But, once again, Comey tries to make himself relevant in a losing battle. The same man who lied many times before congressional committees is telling us what to believe. It would be hilarious if it weren’t so tragic.
Comey testified under oath before a congressional committee that he didn’t decide on exonerating Hillary until after her interview with the FBI. But his letter, which was the first draft of the Hillary exoneration letter was written months before. Not only that, not one witness had been deposed at the time he wrote that draft. During his press conference, he said Hillary was innocent because she didn’t leak her emails intentionally. That is a lie because the law states that you are guilty if you are careless with classified information. Nowhere in the statute does it say anything about intention. James Comey has even admitted to leaking classified material himself.
Now, Comey is saying that Judge Kavanaugh lied in his testimony before Congress and not surprisingly, he does not offer up any evidence whatsoever.
Comey wrote:
“Yes, the alleged incident occurred 36 years ago. But F.B.I. agents know time has very little to do with memory. They know every married person remembers the weather on their wedding day, no matter how long ago. Significance drives memory. They also know that little lies point to bigger lies. They know that obvious lies by the nominee about the meaning of words in a yearbook are a flashing signal to dig deeper.”
Comey appears to be confused here. It is Christine Ford who can’t remember where the party was, who was there, and how she got home or even what year the alleged attack took place. Why did he totally overlook that fact? Because he was too busy deciding what slang meant. Does Comey also know what 5 8 and “it’s a rill, seriously” means. That was slang from my high school. I think not.
The bottom line is if you want to know the truth, the last person you should listen to is James Comey.
