Michael Davis and the Virginia State Police reportedly exchanged gunfire, resulting in the death of Tatiana David.
A lady who was presumed to have been kidnapped by her child’s father from upstate New York was shot and murdered by police in Virginia.
New York State Police said that after a high-speed chase into Virginia, Michael Davis opened fire on the policemen who were trying to apprehend him with firearms.
During the pursuit, Davis reportedly ran into a fence in Prince William County, according to the Virginia State Police. He kept going, though, and eventually smashed his SUV into a forest after going off the road.
The SUV’s driver fired shots at the approaching policemen. According to the statement, “in response, state police opened fire.”
According to investigators, Tatiana David was shot during the confrontation. Davis’ white SUV was reportedly where her corpse was discovered.
At age 34, her life was cut tragically short.
Davis was taken by helicopter to a neighboring hospital with life-threatening injuries, according to authorities. The state of his health has not improved.
David was pronounced dead at the spot, but no one knows who shot him.
Davis is the father of the victim’s 4-year-old kid from a previous relationship, but he and the victim are no longer together.
Michelle Berrios, David’s mother, expressed her hope that her “baby girl’s legacy will live on” in a social media post.
Tatiana Nicole Your legacy will be continued by your son, David. He has some decent skill. He is with you and your loved ones at this time. Dearest sweetheart, What Berrios said.
Another angel was given her wings today. You’ve got my heart, kid. Raise your hand and jump! Keep xsavior in mind. Until we meet again, he will be protected by his very own guardian angel. Your grandma and I are going to the next town over. Mom, you have my undying love and gratitude.
On Thursday, an autopsy will be performed to determine what caused David’s death, according to the New York State Police.
