Recently, Luis Cobos-Cenobio, 29, was stopped by a policeman. He jumped out of his car and began firing at the officer. His shots hit the windshield and the body of the patrol car, but fortunately, the officer was unscathed.
He then took off but was caught later. It has now been confirmed that he is one of Obama’s DACA recipients, the Democrats love above all else , including American citizens that they can’t stand. This is just another example of what happens when you allow people to come to or stay in the country without vetting them.
“Luis Cobos-Cenobio, 29, faces charges of terrorism and attempted capital murder after a shooting spree that saw him open fire [on] police during two separate confrontations as he tried to escape a routine traffic stop last week,” reported The Washington Times.
According to ICE officials, Cobos-Cenobio was part of DACA, a controversial amnesty program pushed by former President Obama and many Democrats.
“Mr. Cobos-Cenobio had at least two previous arrests, officials said, including one misdemeanor charge in 2015 that brought him to ICE’s attention. But the Obama administration, which was in office at the time, concluded he wasn’t a danger, and declined to pursue deportation,” The Times continued.
During a routine traffic stop last week, the illegal immigrant pulled a handgun on a sheriff’s deputy and opened fire. Miraculously, no officers were hurt during the ensuing gun battle.
Conservative immigration experts pointed to this case as a prime example of problems with amnesty programs.
The DACA program is illegal just as DAPA was and is equally as unconstitutional as DAPA for the very same reasons. When it returns to the Supreme Court, it will be struck down.
