Mulvaney demonstrated her gender transition with the use of many Maybelline products in a TikTok video.
Maybelline just filmed a beauty commercial featuring trans lady Dylan Mulvaney. This infuriated our regular clientele.
Mulvaney’s gender transformation was cause for celebration, so Maybelline collaborated with the TikTok star to create a video in which Mulvaney uses some of the brand’s products.
A month ago, Mulvaney uploaded the commercial on her TikTok channel.
The conservative consumer base has been vocal in its disapproval of the transgender activist and influencer’s involvement with several businesses, including Bud Light.
Bud Light sales have dropped by 17% as a direct result of the public’s rejection of the company’s Mulvaney offer. Some were offended that the trans lady had modeled sports bras for Nike.
For the same reason, Republicans are now calling for a boycott of Maybelline products.
Mulvaney started the TikTok video with a towel wrapped around her shoulders and no makeup. She grabbed her Maybelline cosmetics and began swiftly applying them on her face. This is a typical transition from one TikTok clip to another.
She was dressed up with her hair and cosmetics done when she put down the camera and the brush. She was dressed and ready to go out. After applying some Maybelline lip gloss and doing her best camera grin, Mulvaney’s segment ended.
The video was captioned, “Getting ready for my Day 365 show with @maybelline #maybellinepartner #dylanmulvaney #shorts.” It was stated in the video’s title card that Mulvaney is a “Maybelline Partner.”
Conservative observers and cosmetics wearers were not impressed by Mulvaney’s latest ploy.
British anti-transgender activist Oli London tweeted the clip, mocking it with the company’s catchphrase. Taking to Twitter, he speculated, “Maybe he was born with it or Maybelline gave it to him.”Ladies, please welcome Maybelline’s newest spokesperson.
Commenter and influencer “Conservative Momma” was critical of the couple, stating, “So no more @Maybelline. In support of womanface is an insult to actual women.
Canadian Republican candidate Liz Churchill publicly rejected her Maybelline cosmetics with the statement, “No way. The two Maybelline products I own are now useless and must be discarded. Shame.”
Tweeter Claire Hunt said, “The entire feminist movement just rolled over in its grave, as this saccharine display pretends to be an Exemplar of ‘Womanhood.'”
Another dissatisfied user named Stacie Allison posted, “Ok, gals. Maybelline is now actively working to diminish women’s self-esteem. #BoycottMaybeline.”
An ex-Democrat who now uses Twitter, Terry Van Loon, commented, “More bad brands that choose the ‘Hail Mary’ pass instead of going bankrupt.”
