This week, President Joe Biden received harsh criticism after a strange video surfaced of him having an unusual conversation with a small child.
The video was shot in Helsinki, Finland, and shows Biden chatting with a woman who is carrying a baby. Biden’s surprise action to affectionately nibble on the kid’s shoulder clearly unnerved the youngster.
Biden persisted in trying to kiss the infant on the head despite the fact that the child had turned away from the 80-year-old president.
Quickly, the video was met with considerable internet criticism, with many commenters pointing out Biden’s history of similar behavior.
According to digital media expert Caleb Hull, it was “Biden’s creepiest moment yet with a child,” highlighting the importance of exercising better discretion.
Comedian Jesse Kelly, a radio personality, tweeted, “Dude can’t resist a little girl, like a kid on Christmas morning.”
Rita Panahi, an Australian political pundit, was visibly uncomfortable and described the encounter as “Creepy AF,” bringing up Joe Biden’s history of inappropriate behavior.
As Ben Kew, editor at Red State, put it, “What the F**K is wrong with this man?”
When asked about the incident, media commentator Joe Concha said, “I’m sorry, but normal people don’t behave this way with children…”
There was a lot of talk about the video on the cable news channels; Fox News commentator Jesse Watters called it “not presidential” and “weird.”
Watters also emphasized the unusual nature of Biden’s actions, saying that such close displays of affection are more commonly shown to one’s own children than to complete strangers in a public place.
This event prompted opponents to wonder whether or not Biden should continue his habit of nuzzling and sniffing children.
