In a shocking outburst inside a Wisconsin courtroom, convicted murderer Taylor Schabusiness physically attacked her defense attorney during a hearing, causing a temporary disruption in the proceedings.

The incident occurred as Schabusiness appeared in court for a post-conviction hearing related to her high-profile murder case. Without warning, she lunged at her lawyer, prompting a swift response from courtroom security. Officers tackled Schabusiness to the ground and restrained her as stunned courtroom attendees looked on.

The courtroom scuffle lasted only seconds but drew immediate concern over safety protocols and her behavior during legal proceedings. The attorney, though shaken, did not sustain serious injuries and was able to continue after the situation was brought under control.

Schabusiness was previously found guilty in a gruesome case involving the killing and dismemberment of a 25-year-old man. The crime, which drew national attention due to its brutality, led to her conviction and a life sentence without the possibility of parole.

Following the altercation, court officials are reviewing the circumstances of the attack, including whether additional measures are needed for future hearings involving Schabusiness. It remains unclear if the courtroom outburst will result in further charges.
